any one know about antique dutch boy & girl figurines?
the boy is carrying a brown barrel on his shoulder, bought at Worthworth five and dime store 40 years ago no signature or sign on bottom.
Doubtful it'd be a Hummel as they are not sold at Woolworth. It sounds like a Chinese/Japanese knockoff. Hummels are always signed.

I have either a bronze or brass (heavy) dutch boy and dutch girl with hanging buckets on chains with the word Anvers stamped on the bottom. It stands on a wood square base and underneath it is marked 1947.
Could someone please give me info if possible. Is Anvers a store?
