Vintage wooden corner cabinet purchased from farmhouse has manure smell. How can we get this out?
MIL purchased an old corner cabinet from a farmhouse in Maine. When she got it home, however, and opened the doors in the cabinet she was inundated with the strong smell of cow or horse manure. Baking soda does not work. Any ideas on how to remove the odor without ruining the piece? It is a painted piece.
Spray it down with white vinegar and clean it off. Spray again and let sit for 24 hrs and wipe.
